This is where it started. Neon, the entertainment publication of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, covered Mark Wahlberg’s announcement that he had signed the lease for Municipal Gym Fitness and Recovery, powered by EōS Fitness, in Downtown Summerlin.
Wahlberg made the announcement himself in an early morning Instagram video, calling it “the first time in history that luxury and serious fitness meet.” Named for the MUNICIPAL sportswear brand, the club will combine training and recovery with juice bars, cafés, retail and apparel, and vitamins and supplements.
The announcement added to a growing list of Wahlberg’s Las Vegas investments since he moved to the valley in 2022.
